Investing in girls is the right thing to do…
In 1912, fourteen years before the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, Juliette Gordon Low broke a major barrier for girls by founding Girl Scouts.
One hundred and six years later, Girl Scouts is still championing for the advancement of girls to have an equal footing in the leadership landscape. We work on a broader scale as girls navigate a more complex world than ever before, but some things remain the same. Every Girl Scout benefits from connecting with her peers in an all-girl environment where she can build the confidence and skills she needs to become a leader. We are proud of the impact we’ve made so far, but the astounding potential in girls inspires us to aim higher.
We envision a world where girls and women are represented equally as leaders in our communities, our businesses, our nation - and with your help, we’ll see that vision become a reality.
When you invest in Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho, you’re letting girls in our community know that you believe in them, support them, and are committed to making sure they have the opportunities they need to become leaders - not tomorrow, but today!
Please consider investing in Girl Scouts with a one-time donation, by becoming a sustaining member through a monthly pledge, by fundraising on behalf of and for Girl Scouts, or through a corporate partnership.
